Kick-Ass Synopsis:


How come nobody’s ever tried to be a superhero?” That’s the question raised by an ordinary New York teenager Dave Lizewski. The extreme comic-book geek teenager put on a green-and-yellow internet-bought wetsuit and becomes the no-nonsense vigilante, Kick-Ass. As he goes into his superhero adventure Dave soon finds an answer to his own question: because being a superhero hurts.
Overcoming all the odds, the eager yet inexperienced Dave known as Kick-Ass quickly becomes a phenomenon, capturing the attention of the public. However, Kick-Ass not the only superhero out there – the fearless and highly-trained father-daughter crime-fighting duo, Big Daddy and Hit Girl have been slowly but surely taking down the criminal empire of local Mafioso, Frank D’Amico. And, as Kick-Ass gets drawn into their no-holds-barred world of bullets and bloodletting with Frank’s son, Chris, now reborn as Kick-Ass’s arch-nemesis, Red Mist – the stage is set for a final showdown between the forces of good and evil – in which the “Do-It-Yourself” hero will have to live up to his name. The Kick-Ass official soundtrack album was released in UK last March 29, 2010. The title song “Kick-Ass” written is by pop singer-songwriter Mika, co-written by Jodi Marr and produced by RedOne. The song, ‘Kick Ass’ has been confirmed as Mika’s 10th official single in the United Kingdom and will be officially released on May 2, 2010.
